Superfly

Man! that was the ultimate male fantasy come alive.

It’s a pretty good action movie and in every way not just a remake of a classic blaxpolation movie but it pay homage to everything that is blaxpolation (both positive and negative).
A lot of people might not see it or get it, but it’s a great mixture of that 1970s genre, all into one package.

I was wondering why it was so important to note that the movie was produced by the same people who produce the matrix (and who is director X?). It’s as slick and stylish as the matrix with some great action scenes and some interesting characters.

It’s very bold in this wave of feminism that they made Superfly the ultimate Alpha male living totally in the fast lane of the drug game, with fast cars cool cribs, great clothes and fast women (Mainly two as not only does he have two girlfriends but they were all having sex with each other on the regular).

Priest is the king of the drug game in Atlanta, his head so strongly connected to his shoulders he does not need to bring a gun to a gun fight (It’s really like he’s Neo). He has the perfect life with his right hand man having his back and two chicks sharing his bed as he runs his house like a true king, but one day he realizes he does not have the same mind set for this lifestyle and needs to do one last big score and get out before he gets got.

This is going to be a guilty pleasure for me for years it was like Lord of the Rings for dudes the best fantasy picture I ever seen, they somehow fully succeeded in turning that music video into a feature film.
