Wonderfully movie on a great story

Movie reminds me a lot of another film based on true events called Truth.

It’s an investigative reporter team called spotlight do a story on molestation accusations in the Catholic Church of Boston.

It was gripping watching the team investigate. It feels a lot like a cop drama like Law and Order

Mark Rufflo was intense as Mendez one of the investigative reporters. Was a great role for him. He really stood out in what was an amazing ensemble cast that included Michael Keaton showing the fruits of his labor from his Oscar nomination role in the drama Bird man. Levi Schuber as the new editor and chief, an outsider who saw a possible story that the ones close to overlooked, and Rachael MacAdams. There are more great performances like from Stanley Tucci but these guys really stood out.

Also like the imagery. Making Boston a character is idea and show how grounded they are in the Catholic Church.
