White Noise

I have no idea what’s going on here. It feels like it’s a metaphor for the pandemic but then it turns into something I don’t understand.

I have no problem admitting that Noah Baumbach went completely over my head with this one. As a film, what I saw was well put together. Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig made that connection for me. A connection that made me want to understand what was happening, but I just kept getting lost in what was not on the surface.

Adam Driver’s transformation into a middle-aged intellectual trying to keep claim in many Choas made the movie interesting enough that I never got bored, so as far as I’m concerned, I did not have a moment where I dosed off and missed something, yet somewhere in the over two-hour film, that’s what seemed to happen.

This piece of art is a puzzle that I can’t put together but has a lot of beautiful pieces.

It’s a piece of art that I could not understand no matter how long I Stared at it.
