Those things that Denzel had to do before he became a huge star.
A by the-numbers- comedy, a little to formulated for the serious issues it’s making fun of.
Technically the race issue is shown through the eyes of people who are suppose to be dry and dull and that shows. Too bad it did not make the movie funny.
I’m a little ashamed to say the best bit in the movie was when George Seagal bet a father and son that he and his black son can beat them at a game of basketball, and as it turns out he can’t play ball.

I wonder if Denzel has been trying to bury this joint for years.
