Bloodfist 8: Hard way out.

Once again like every movie in the Bloodfist franchise, this movie has nothing to do with the other Bloodfist movies, with the exception that they all stared Don “the Dragon” Wilson. In fact, I learned that BloodFist 7: Man Hunt was actually just a movie called Man Hunt but when they disturbed the movie here in the States they put the bloodfist title on in.

I wonder if they if it’s the same thing for this movie? If they did, it technically was a disservice for the film possibly just called Hard Way Out. Out of all the Bloodfist films, Hard Way Out has the best done plot.

The Dragon plays a High School teacher who teaches at the school his astringed son goes. He was not there for the first 15 years of his life and he’s trying to make up for it now that the kid’s mother died and they are forced to live together as father and son, but his past as a CIA agent comes back to hunt him when some bad guys discover where he is and come after him and his son.

Kind of a great way to get on your son’s good side right? The story begins with this boy hating his lame teacher dad, then you find out this dude was a bad ass secret agent. Sure, it was his old job that got moms killed but your dad’s a sp. Plus they got a free trip to Ireland?

It was a very strong plot that really help me like this movie. The film does get to the point were the plot gets too formulated (In an attempt to mimic the other Bloodfist, flick maybe?), but it starts off really strong and added by the chemistry between The Dragon and the kid playing his son, makes this a pretty good way to end the franchise (As there were no more movies The Dragon made after this that they could just slap the Bloodfist title onto)
