Eddie Murphy does his thang in Dolemite. I loved this movie. It reminds me of BAAAD ASSSS starting Mario Van Peeples as his father Melvin. The movie tells the story about how Rudy Ray Moore came up with the comedic persona of Dolemite and the trails and tribulations of making an indi film. So if your into movies about making movies you’ll love it and if you love movies about comedy you’ll love it.
