The Addams Family (2019)

Watchable. could have been more watchable.

As I remember but could be wrong it was always hinted at that the Addams were monsters but not officially, just perceived as. Well the animated movie changes that by fully making the Adams monsters, mostly for the arc of he story about hatred and tolerance as the Adams try to fit in with their neighbors. The Adams being real monsters does make for some good animation. It’s lovely and creative, just how I like my animations so I can’t complain about that. the story was just ok, I thought they tried too hard to teach me something vs trying to make me laugh with the freighting ironic gags that make up the Adams family.
