That was not bad at all.

From the maker of the Evil Dead, Sam Rami( as producer) comes a stellar horror, thriller. It’s an amazingly basic movie about a daddy daughter duo being trapped in the basement during a hurricane with a few alligators.

It’s a situation that could totally happen and they made a movie about it.

It’s not perfect.  Its need to be a thriller makes for some slow suspenseful scenes that accidentally showcase what’s wrong with the film, but overall, director Alexander Aje and the two actors he got to play the daddy daughter duo pulled me so deeply into the whole thing that I could not help but get emotional.
