Forrest Gump (11 out of 1,001-A milestone and a pin point in technology)

Forrest Gump is excellent, it’s Tom Hanks at his most impressive.

What’s makes this movie really deserving to be in this book is that this movie is a pin point in time in which film technology took a different turn. When you think of movies that win Oscars for best visual effects, you think of Science fiction pictures or big elaborate sets for fantasy films, but Forest Gump used were we where in technology to inject the main character into american history. A Fantastic feet back in the mid-90s now standard in today’s film making world.

For me the greatest reason to see this movie before you die is this scene:
