Phatam Thread

Man, Daniel Day-Lewis lives up to the hype. He does not do many movies but when he does a movie it’s off the scale. It’s intresting that he picked Phatom Thread for his last flick(or so advertised) or rather intresting to me as it does seem like a pretty quiet film. However, it’s an amazing role for an actor such as Daniel Day-Lewis. Can’t remember any other film where I seen him look somewhat like he looks out of a charater.

Day-Lewis or Lewis teams up with Paul Thomas Anderson once more (like they did in There Will be Blood) to bring us Phatom Thread, a…”romance” about a may December relationship between an artistic well known dress maker and the young woman he decides to have a relationship with.

Day-Lewis gave a very realistic performance of  a man not use to having his world shook up by the addiction of sharing it with another person. Dramatic and funny, overall Charming  though I like Paul Thomas Anderson and the film is great, it is not something I usually run to the theatre to see, but Daniel Day-Lewis definelty gave a performance that held my intrest.
