All Eyes On Me

Overall I really love the movie and what it said about Tupac. Though they got a kid who looks a lot like Tupac, I did feel It just wasn’t an intimation  of the rapper.  The movie had some real heart to it, the way it was able to get into Tupac’s head and makes us understand the struggle he went through on his climb to the top. I like how the movie does not concentrate on the music, because that’s a given, they focus on the message that Tupac was trying to get across, cause this is what made him a good rapper.

I thought I knew everything about the rapper coming of age in the same time that he was raising to fame, but having all the info gathered like this gives you a different perceptive of who he is and why he did the things he did.

I will say, it may have been too long at Two hours and Twenty minutes. They were trying to get all of Tupac’s life into this biopic, but the first few years were chopped together like some sort of Made-for-TV movie instead of the epic everyone who loves hip-hop wanted it to be.

I felt like I’ve seen people play Tupac a bunch of times in films, including Straight out of Compton, so it was definitely a treat having this movie come out, but Straight out of Compton had a little bit more magic than All Eyes on Me.
